Edda armchair reinterprets the archetype of the traditional Japanese floor seat without legs, through an essential and informal design.
The stitching that defines its volumes, the soft padding, and the solid wood supporting structure come together in carefully balanced proportions conceived for contemporary interiors, where comfort and minimalism meet.
Federica Biasi’s design vision integrates naturally into De Padova’s aesthetic horizon, in continuity with a research approach that, since its origins, has woven together cross-cultural influences and formal rigor. The Edda armchair emerges from a quiet dialogue between disciplines, cultures, and memories. An expression that captures diverse influences and translates them into a coherent synthesis, capable of absorbing references and returning them in a measured language.
The organic lines and the balance of heterogeneous elements expand De Padova’s formal language, establishing an ideal dialogue with the most iconic pieces of the collection.
